What is ISO certification?

ISO 14001:2015 is an international standard specifying the requirements for an effective environmental management system. Rather than establishing requirements, this standard establishes a framework that any organisation can follow.
ISO certification is awarded to organisations once the company in question has been audited by a third-party and found to have fulfilled all necessary criteria.
